Yaamava' Resort & Casino at San Manuel in Highland is leading a stretch of live music events from May 11 to May 24, with alt-rock favorites Goo Goo Dolls and a marquee performance from Lenny Kravitz among the biggest draws.
Goo Goo Dolls are scheduled to perform at Yaamava' Theater on Tuesday, May 19 at 8 p.m. at 777 San Manuel Blvd. in Highland. Tickets start at approximately $149, and the show is for ages 21 and older.
Lenny Kravitz follows on Saturday, May 23 at 8 p.m. at the same venue and address. Tickets for the four-time consecutive Grammy winner start at approximately $567, and that concert is also restricted to ages 21 and older.
The run adds another layer to a broader regional concert calendar spanning the Inland Empire, Temecula, San Jacinto, Victorville and the High Desert, with Yaamava' Theater described as the Inland Empire’s premier 3,000-seat casino theater. That capacity gives the Highland venue room to host acts that can fill a large room without losing the feeling of a club show.
What makes the schedule notable is the contrast in price and draw. Goo Goo Dolls offer the lower entry point, while Kravitz brings the higher-ticket centerpiece, and both land in the same week at the same san manuel venue. For concertgoers looking at the calendar now, the next decision is not whether there is something to see, but how much they want to spend for it.
