Kroy Biermann was spotted getting a little too friendly with Jillian Green over the weekend, a sighting that pushed two messy divorces back into the spotlight. The former NFL player and Green, the ex-wife of Kyle Mowitz, spent quality time bonding on a three-hour trek in Alpharetta, Georgia, where they were seen sharing smiles and hugs.
The outing matters because Green and Mowitz are in the middle of a $100M divorce battle, while Zolciak is now tied to that case through her relationship with Mowitz. Court documents filed in March revealed that Zolciak agreed to be questioned under oath in Green’s case and to answer questions about any money, gifts or loans she may have received from Mowitz, along with communications and gift records tied to him.
Kim Zolciak and Biermann were married from 2011 until their 2023 separation, and they share six children, including Zolciak’s two older daughters from previous relationships whom Biermann adopted. Zolciak began dating Kyle Mowitz in the spring of 2025, and records say Mowitz’s relationship with her started between April and May. There were no reports or claims that Zolciak and Mowitz had an affair while they were still married to their respective partners.
The legal and personal overlap has only deepened the friction between the families. In March, Zolciak’s attorney argued the deposition request was unnecessary because his client’s relationship with Green’s ex-husband began after their separation, using the word “unnecessary” to describe the demand for testimony. That did not stop the discovery fight, and Biermann’s hike with Green arrived after Green said in a deposition last October that Biermann had contacted her about Zolciak.
According to that account, Biermann told Green that Zolciak would “drain money” from Mowitz, said she had used his credit card for Instacart grocery deliveries and described her as a “narcissist with a gambling problem.” Green said she met Biermann at her cousin’s house to avoid the paparazzi. The sighting now links the two divorces even more tightly: Zolciak’s relationship with Mowitz is under court scrutiny, and Biermann has now been seen spending time with the woman at the center of Mowitz’s own split.
For now, the answer is plain. Biermann and Green’s hike does not change the divorce filings, but it shows the personal and legal lines between both couples have become impossible to separate.
