Hailee Steinfeld gave fans the first glimpse of her and Josh Allen’s baby girl on May 11, posting photos that showed the newborn’s finger, feet and a shot of the child in a newborn onesie. In the caption, Steinfeld wrote, “A day late, but simply obsessed with this.”
The post was the first photo album Steinfeld has shared of the baby since she and Allen announced the birth on April 2 in a Beau Society Substack message that read, “Our baby girl has arrived!!” The couple have kept the child’s name private, even as Steinfeld previously referred to her as “Baby Beau” and Allen spoke openly earlier this year about how fatherhood was already shaping his life.
Allen, the 29-year-old 2024 league MVP, said on Jan. 29 that he was looking forward to becoming a dad and later added in April that fatherhood changes your mindset a little bit. He also called Steinfeld “an absolute rockstar of a wife,” a remark that landed weeks after the couple’s baby girl was welcomed in April 2026, according to the Yahoo report that noted the pair had married in a private California ceremony on May 31, 2025.
That public timeline helps explain why the May 11 post resonated: the birth had already been announced, but the image of the baby had not been shared before. Steinfeld had earlier said in November that her parents once called her “Hailee Beau Bailee” before shortening it to Beau, and in January she said she and Allen had been using the nickname “Baby Beau” for their daughter.
Allen returned to Buffalo for the first day of voluntary workouts on April 7, just days after the birth announcement, and the family has largely kept the child out of view since then. The new photos do not reveal the baby’s name, but they do show the couple moving from announcement to something more personal: a first public look at the child they had talked about for months.
For now, that is the story around the Josh Allen Hailee Steinfeld family — a private birth, a public milestone and a first glimpse that makes the next question obvious: how much, if anything, will they choose to share next?
