Rocket League will put a new Paris Major Bundle on sale May 19, giving players a way to buy cosmetics that directly support the esports teams competing at the event. The bundle will remain available through May 30 and costs 1,000 in-game credits, about $9.99 USD.
Epic Games and Psyonix said all of the bundle’s net sales, after taxes, will be split to support the RLCS Paris Major. Half of that revenue will go to individual players through Player Performance Awards, while the other half will be divided among the 16 teams at the Major, with higher-placing teams taking a larger share.
The more bundles that sell, the larger the prize pool becomes for the RLCS event, which begins May 20. That makes the timing unusually tight: players can buy the item the day before the competition starts, and the money collected will feed directly into the tournament payouts. Epic Games and Psyonix said they will also release a similar bundle later this year to support the RLCS World Championship 2026.
The Paris Major tie-in follows a common playbook in esports, where game publishers use in-game sales to raise prize money and deepen fan involvement. Epic Games has also recently added anti-cheat in Rocket League, part of a broader push to keep competition cleaner as the game’s top events continue to grow.
For the 16 teams heading to Paris, the bundle is more than a cosmetic drop. It is a direct line from the in-game store to the competitive stage, and how many fans choose to buy in will shape how much money the field can split when the major gets underway.
