Pakistan completed a 3-0 whitewash over Zimbabwe Women on Friday with a nine-wicket win in the third and final ODI at the National Stadium in Karachi, chasing down 223 in 31.5 overs. Gull Feroza led the way with an unbeaten 106 off 92 balls, and Sadaf Shamas made 90 off 98 as the openers put on 220 runs to shut the door on the visitors.
Zimbabwe had opted to bat first and finished on 222/9, their highest total of the series, after Beloved Biza made 73 off 88 deliveries and shared a 50-run partnership with an unnamed batter who reached 50. Nomvelo Sibanda added 35 not out late on, but the innings never fully recovered from Pakistan's disciplined spell with the ball.
Tasmia Rubab returned 3/49 in 10 overs, while Ayesha Zafar took 2/13 in six overs and Syeda Aroob Shah chipped in with two wickets for 36 runs. Pakistan's reply was built on control and pace, with Feroza striking 16 boundaries in her innings and Shamas becoming the first Pakistani woman to score five consecutive ODI half-centuries before falling just short of a century.
The opening stand between Feroza and Shamas also broke the record for the most runs by an opening pair in a bilateral series, adding another milestone to a one-sided contest that Pakistan dominated from start to finish. Muneeba Ali then finished the chase unbeaten on 4 as Pakistan closed out the series in style.
The focus now shifts to the shorter format, with the next action scheduled to begin at the same venue on May 12, 2026. For Zimbabwe, the late runs offered some resistance, but not enough to alter a series that ended with Pakistan firmly in control.
