Liverpool are weighing a move for Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez as they prepare for the possibility that Alisson Becker could leave Anfield this summer. Juventus are strongly tipped to secure the Brazilian’s signature, and the English club has begun mapping out what comes next if the veteran No. 1 goes.

The potential switch for Martinez is gaining serious momentum, with Liverpool among the clubs made aware that the Argentina international could be available. The 32-year-old remains one of Villa’s highest earners on a contract that runs until 2029, but the club have already started exploring replacements of their own, including Manchester City’s James Trafford.

For Liverpool, the timing is driving the urgency. Alisson’s contract expires in just over a year, and Juventus have already offered him a lucrative long-term deal.
