Stacey Solomon said it “doesn’t feel real” after she was invited on a Space NK brand trip and flew to Miami with her sons Zachary and Leighton on Wednesday May 6.
The television personality shared the news with fans as she prepared for the journey, writing: “I was invited on the most incredible trip thanks to Jinny & the @spacenk team.” She added that she would “bring you all with me,” and told followers, “Here we go boys.”
The trip matters because Solomon did not go alone. She said she decided to book Zachary and Leighton to come with her because she does not often get to spend time with them on their own, and she wanted the chance to make the most of it. “I decided to book Zach & Leighton to come out with me because, with the little pickles, we don’t get to hang out just us a lot, & I miss them,” she wrote.
She also told fans, “The next few days are going to be magic,” and added, “It genuinely doesn’t feel real!” and “I’ll never take this for granted it’s just not real!”
The Miami trip was being put together by Space NK and included other public figures, among them Rochelle and Marvin Humes, Olivia Attwood and influencer Perrie Sian. Solomon’s decision to bring her sons gave the trip a family angle, even as it remained a brand event.
Earlier in the week, Solomon marked Leighton’s 14th birthday, making the Miami flight on Wednesday something of a late celebration for her eldest boys. She has three children with Joe Swash — Rex, Rose and Belle — and is also mother to teenagers Zachary and Leighton from previous relationships.
The contrast is sharp. On one side is the glossy invitation to a high-profile Miami trip; on the other is a mother trying to carve out rare time with the sons she does not always get to see one-on-one. That is the reason this moment landed for her, and the reason she said fans were hearing about it at all.
For Solomon, the answer is already in her own words: she was thrilled, grateful and, as she put it, “so excited to spend some special time” with her big boys in Miami.
